Art Advisor & Art Historian
Juliet Rees Davies is a British art historian and Art Advisor based in Sweden and working internationally. She is the founder of Rees Davies Art Advisory.
With over 20 years of experience within the contemporary art world, Juliet Rees Davies has built her career around connecting people with art working with private collectors, international artists, galleries, art fairs, interior designers and architects to source, curate and place contemporary art.
Founder Juliet Rees Davies
Juliet founded the Nordic Art Agency in 2010, developing the agency into one of Southern Sweden's largest independent international contemporary art galleries. Over two decades, she represented and collaborated with established and emerging artists from around the world, curating exhibitions, participating in international art fairs and advising private and professional clients across the Nordic region and internationally.
Her approach to art advisory has always been highly personal. Rather than beginning with trends or purely commercial considerations, Juliet works to understand the individual collector, the space and the connection they want to establish with an artwork. Her experience spans contemporary painting, photography and sculpture, from individual acquisitions and private commissions to developing collections and sourcing art for interior and architectural projects.
Art & Conversation
In 2020, Juliet founded and became host of the Nordic Art Agency Podcast, creating an international platform for conversations with established and emerging artists, galleries, art fairs and influential voices from across the contemporary art world.
Through conversations exploring artistic process, inspiration, innovation and collecting, the podcast reflects a philosophy that continues through Rees Davies Art Advisory: that understanding the story and creative process behind an artwork can create a deeper connection between artist and collector.
Juliet's long-standing relationship with international art fairs has developed through many years as both an exhibitor and Art Advisor, alongside podcasts, curated projects and collaborations. In 2026, Juliet was appointedArt Advisor at Affordable Art Fair Stockholm, providing independent guidance to new and established collectors through the fair's Ask the Art Advisor service.
Rees Davies Art Advisory
Today, Rees Davies Art Advisory brings this experience into an independent international practice.
Working across private collecting, interiors, architecture and international art fairs, Juliet offers clients access to an established international network while providing knowledgeable, approachable and independent advice.
At the centre of the advisory is a simple belief: collecting art should be personal, informed and driven by curiosity.
